Hadley United Services Bowling Club have had to fold as a club but are reforming as Hadley Bowling Club and playing at Charlton Bowling Club.
Hadley secretary Rob Burroughs emailed the league to say “I am writing to inform you that Hadley USBC has now folded with immediate effect due to no one to cut the green and lack of support financially and morally from the social club.
However a new club called Hadley Bowling Club has been formed and will be playing at the Charlton.
They will only be entering a team on a Monday night and possibly a Thursday Night team.”
As a result there are now just 12 teams in Division One, which means Fixtures across all three Friday Divisions will start on Friday 17th April.
However we are still waiting on news of a possible withdrawal from a Mid Shropshire Club in the Premier League, with a decision to be made by this weekend, as this would mean Horsehay moving back into the Premier League if that club withdraws.
So fixtures will not be out till this weekend at the earliest, most likely released next week.
Charlton have confirmed they are not entering another Saturday team, meaning that will remain at 7 teams.
Hadley have been asked to make a decision by the Officer’s meeting on Monday on whether they would like to take the bye in the Dennis Lewis League.
