The final 5 spots will be decided tonight across three greens for the Shropshire Verti-Drain & Turf Services Mid Shropshire Merit.
Former winner Paul Beer is at Allscott Heath, along with former Dixon & Driscoll winner John Potter. Youngsters Ellis Griffiths and Jack Peach will be on a high after helping Shropshire win on Sunday, and Helen Clee is a former Mixed Doubles Champion.
At Newport Rob Steventon will most likely be favourite given his experience, but team mate Dan Wilson (who got married on Friday, congratulations to him and his partner!) and Division 6 Averages winner Harris Needham are there, along former Dixon & Driscoll winner Pete Millington.
Former Champion Stuart Church is at Shifnal, as well as his son and current Under 15 Champion Logan Church. Emmet McKinley and Chris Dodds teamed up to reach the final at the Dixon & Driscoll finals but may meet each other this time, while Ayden Smith reached the final of this before, and Dave Price has previously won the Dixon & Driscoll Doubles.
