Stuart Rutter won the inaugural Champion of Champions after beating Ian Edwards in the final 21-17. It was a close final after Stuart went 7-3 up then Ian went 9-7 ahead. Stuart led 14-10 but was pegged back 14 across. Stuart again went clear at 17-14 but again Ian got back to 17 across. Stuart though then ran out with some great bowls.
In the Semi Finals Stuart beat Brian Jarvis 16 after going 13-5 up and pegged back to 15 across, while Ian defeated Tony Rhodes from 19-13 down.
Well done to Stuart on his win.
