From breaking his competition title duck to winning 2 in seven days – it was quite a week for young League bowler Jamie Pritchard.
The 13-year-old won the Handicap singles at Newport and followed up on Saturday 12th September by adding the Junior Handicap honour.
That success for the Horsehay bowler came at Bridgnorth where he beat Jack Peach (Castlefields) 13-4 in the final after winning his four round robin group games.
Later in the day, Castlefields won the Harris Cup for the 4th time by beating Premier rivals Wem USC at Bowring while on the newer green Trench A edged a thrilling Harris Shield final against second division Wrockwardine Wood B.
Trench skipper Peter Millington is PICTURED receiving the trophy from League chairman Chris Hayward
