Stuart Beddoes won the first ever Mid Shropshire Beginner’s Competition as he beat Owen Sheddon 17 in the final. Owen was 7-3 up but Stuart then led 15-11 and 17-14 before he won 17.
In the Semi Finals Stuart was only 12-10 up on Charlotte Pritchard and won 11. Owen raced 9-1 up on Finley Pessall who got back to 9-6 but Owen won 9.
In the Consolation Final it was Matt Parton who won beating Tom Brittland 13 after going 8-0 up.
In the Semi Finals Matt was 10-7 down on Eric Thomason but went 14-11 and 17-12 ahead and won 15. Tom was 15-7 up on Jamie Pritchard who got back to 19 across but won 19.
Well done to Stuart and Matt on their wins.

Quarter Finals:
Owen Sheddon was 9-6 down to Jack Peach but went 16-11 up. Jack got back to 16 across however Owen won 17.
Finley Pessall was 14-8 down to Maria Verela but went 16-14 up and won 19.
Stuart Beddoes was only 9-4 up on Craig Christie but won 6.
2nd Round:
Maria Varela was 4-3 down to Robin Wilkes but went 16-4 up and won 5.
Finley Pessall was 13-10 down to Harry Grimston but got back to 16 across and won 18.
Charlotte Pritchard was 11-7 up on Helen Wilkes but then 13-11 up. She went 15-13 up but 19-15 behind, however she ran out.
Jim Broadhouse was 9-3 up on Matt Parton and kept this lead to win 10.
Stuart Beddoes was 8-1 and 14-3 up on Josh Williams and won 7.
Craig Christie was 16-1 up on Pip Broadhouse and won 8.
1st Round:
David Dye was 7-3 up on Kara Hughes and won 4.

Eric Thomason was 15-1 and 17-3 up on Pip Broadhouse but Pip got back to 17-15, however Eric got back in and won 18.
Matt Parton went 14-1 up on Ellis Reeves and won 10.

Lorraine Hancock was 10-6 up on Jason Williams but Jason got back to 12 across. However Lorraine won 19.
