Another 3 deserving people will be become Life Members of the League at tonight’s (Tuesday the 7th) October executive meeting.
The formal business of the meeting will be followed by a presentation ceremony to honour the 2025 recipients – Brenda Slingo, David Evans and Adrian Smith
Delegates will earlier hear that the boom in the number of young bowlers playing in the League this year has forced a change of approach.
A separate junior presentation is being organised in conjunction with the Sir John Bayley Club where so many of the new under-18s have been in action.
It will be held on Sunday (OCT 12) at the Bayley, starting with a fun competition from 2.30pm – ahead of the launch of the club’s winter league the next night – and then a prize-giving buffet.
