New Life Member Brenda Slingo deservedly handed over the prizes at the League’s junior presentation – a joint function with the Sir John Bayley Cub as they marked the end of their first season with effectively a complete under-18 team that competed in division 6.
Double champion, under-15 and 18 Merit winner Logan Church of Sinclair, was in the spotlight as he picked up his two trophies won at Broseley – and is PICTURED with Brenda at the Bayley Club.
Harris Needham and Salvatori Farruggio of the Bayley won the Fletcher Junior Doubles at Trench and Harry Gimston came out on top of 14 entries in the League’s first ever Junior Handicap that was played at Bowring.
The presentation afternoon started with a fun tournament and Brenda said: “The juniors all enjoyed it, as they always do when bowling.
“Sir John Bayley were very accommodating for what was a great presentation and following buffet.”
