Friday Fever!

Monday’s are already a go and tomorrow – Friday 17thApril – the action starts in the main Friday divisions.

Reigning champions Sinclair, fresh from winning their first ever division one title, have already beaten 2 Premier League cubs this season in the Mayhew Trophy and look hot favourites to remain Mid Shropshire top dogs.

Armed with new signings Ayden Smith, John Roberts Jnr, Michael Cooper and Kevin Keary they look set to be an irresistible force that could better the 24 point margin they had over runners-up Newport in the final table for 2025.

Shifnal, champions in 2024, have strengthened too with Nathan Lacey and Sian Skelton among the recruits and Bowring will look to climb into the top half after capturing the services of Roy Bradburn and Nick Mullinder.

Horsehay, having suffered relegation from the Premier after losing October’s play-off final to Woore, will look to consolidate and keep building for the future.

But Donnington Wood’s hopes of improving on fifth place last season won’t be helped by the loss of Nick Wyer and Allscott Heath will be without long-time skipper Chris Hayward.

And the promoted duo of Madeley Cricket Club and Sir John Bayley B will have just 1 goal – to give a good account of themselves in the top flight and survive to fight another season in it.

Looks like being a great season . . .
