The League’s playing progamme finished at the weekend and now it’s time to talk – and get ready for the presentation dinner next month.
The October Executive meeting is tomororw – Tuesday 6th October – at SJBC at 7.30pm and the agenda and divisional prize money proposal has alrady gone out to club secs anddelegates.
The importance of what clubs that have been allocated places at the Dinner need to do – menu choices and payment for extra places – that were are on the agenda cannot be over-stated. PLEASE SEE BELOW!
And it is sincerely hoped that everyone at the meeting stays to see the 2026 Life Members honoured. All clubs not represented at the meeting will be fined £5 as per League rules

REMEMBER . . . .
1 – ALL clubs need to return their DINNER PLACES & MENUS forms at this meeting to save the organisers time and huge amounts of printing. PAYMENT for any extra places allocated also MUST be made. This can be by cash or cheque at the meeting – or BEFORE it by BACs transfer, details of the League’s account from Celia Miles (by email, text or call).
2 – The meeting will be followed by a ceremony to honour the League’s 2026 Life Members – Sean Round, Peter Driver and Phil Owen – and then followed by a finger buffet
