Dinner Data!

The 2026 League season may only just be past the halfway stage but the title chasers have all emerged and lots of competitions have already been played.

So now is the ideal time to confirm details to all of the our 1,500 bowlers of this year’s Presentation Dinner – so that the date can be put in diaries and everyone knows how to book a place!

It will be held on Saturday 21st November when we return for a second year to The Shropshire at Muxton.

Start time is 6pm and a 2-course meal will be served from 6.30. That will be followed by live music until 10.30 and then a disco until close at 12.30am

The choice of main courses is Roast Pork or Roast Chicken, with Wild Mushroom & Tarragon Risotto as the vegetarian option. There will be a choice of 3 desserts and tea and coffee will be available afterwards.

The cost of places at the function will be £28 per person and, as per League rules, each member club will be invoiced for 2 tickets on their end of season account.

Maximum attendance is 150 and the remaining 80 or so places will be available to book on a first come-first served basis from Saturday 20th September – BOOKED VIA CLUB SECRETARIES!!!!

So the League has already urged them to note that date so that any of their bowlers who want to attend don’t miss out.

If any club does not require their 2 tickets then organisers Margaret and Malcolm Fletcher will do their utmost to get them sold to other people and then reimburse those clubs.

Any junior eager to attend will be charged £20. The reason for the reduced subsidy is that the juniors will have their own separate presentation function at Bridgnorth on Saturday 12th September following the Junior Handicap.

So there you have it!
