As most of you will probably have seen by now, the 2026 MSBL fixtures went LIVE this morning.
Grateful thanks go to John Palmer who has to deal with a number of issues, including the withdrawals of Worfield and Highley and then the end of bowling and folding of Hadley USC and the formation of a new club – Hadley BC – playing at nearby Charlton.
They will launch with a Monday team and almost certainly another playing the Dennis Lewis Thursday Division, giving that a full 14 sides.
HUSC’s late demise means there are now 3 main divisions of 12 teams on Fridays, 2 of 10 and 2 of 9 on Mondays, 11 in the Afternoon Division and 7 on Saturday afternoons.
An officers meeting last night decided that, given the soaring cost of fuel, the planned pre-season meeting for secetaries and team captains will be held in conjunction with the April executive meeting on Tuesday the 7th at SJBC. Full details will be emailed out to in advance.
And the 2026 Club Contacts which will be on the League website shortly.
