There’s just 1 week to go for clubs to apply to field new teams or withdraw them from any of the divisions run by the League.

The deadline to let fixture secretary John Palmer know (copying in general secretary Malcolm Fletcher please!) is 48 hours before the March executive meeting – which is on Tuesday the 3rd at SJBC (7.30pm). So that is next Sunday night!

The relevant Management Rules, under Registration of Teams, are:

11 (b) Clubs shall by 48 hours before the League’s March Executive meeting advise the Fixture Secretary of the number of teams that they will be entering in the League for the forthcoming season, together with the green that each team will play on, if the Club has more than one green.

11 (c) Clubs wishing to withdraw a team from the League must notify the League Secretary no later than 48 hours before the March Executive meeting. Any team that withdraws after the March meeting will be fined £50.

The deadline for orders of scorecards and captains’ books to be with the general secretary is the March meeting.
