Excitement is mounting on the eve of the League’s re-launch Presentation Dinner, which takes place tomorrow – Friday 14th November – with 151 places booked at The Shropshire Golf Centre in Granville Park, Muxton (TF28PQ).
More than £7,000 in prize money will be presented and first time division one champions Sinclair have most to celebrate – and that’s why they have a party of 21 attending.
But Bowring, who topped the third division, are very close behind with 19 bookings, which includes the live act for the evening, the Harmony Sisters.
Doors open at 6pm and the two course meal will be served shortly after 6.30pm in the heated marquee with its special lighting.
Last orders at the bar time is 11.45pm and everyone will need to vacate the venue by 12.30am at the very latest.
The venue is card only but please bring some cash for the raffle for the chance to win loads of prizes.
There are no guests of honour as everyone who attends the function on a new night, at a different time of year and at a new venue is important to the League.
