It was never say die for young Sir John Bayley duo Salvatori Farruggio & Harris Needham as they triumphed in the Fletcher Junior Doubles at Trench on Saturday 19th July.
They trailed Prince of Wales Hotel pair Jack Cooke & Ellis Griffiths 15-7 in the final and then 20-15 up – but Salvatori & Harris ran out to receive the trophy from Margaret Fletcher after an encouraging 9 pairs entered.
