They won by 29 at home led by Rebecca Wedge’s 11 win, and lost by 27 away, Chris Hayward their only winner there 19. Burway and St Georges have played the leg at Burway last night, St Georges winning there by 26 led by Pete Farmer’s 1 win.
Tonight sees the holders Highley face Taylor Support Shropshire Premier League winners Sir John Bayley. Division One Champions Newport aim to upset Premier League side Adderley, while the lowest ranked team in the competition, Worfield A, play Trench A, leaders of Division Two.
Last year’s runners up Bylet start their campaign against Wrockwardine Wood A in a Preliminary round tie, the winners playing Division One leaders Sinclair next week. That date also sees Hadley USC play Madeley CC in an all Division One clash. Wem USC also play in this competition for the first time in a long time and play Shifnal, impressing in Division One this season.
