Thursday Night Merit Review

Josh Bradburn won the second ever Thursday Night Merit after coming out on top of 11 entries at Donnington Wood. He beat Harry Church in the final 21-7 after finding a round peg and a mark over the middle from 8-6 up. Josh had a great game in the Semi Finals against Pete Farmer in the Semi Finals, coming back from 13-7 and 17-14 down to win 19. In the other Semi Final Harry Church beat his Sinclair team mate Jordan Millman 16 from 15 across.

Quarter Finals:

Josh was only 8-5 up on Viv Cooper but kept his extending his lead to win 7.

Pete was 5-4 down on Ollie Wall but then went corners and only conceded one more.

Jordan was 12-6 up on Will Childs but got back to 13 across, he then ran out.

Harry had an early 8-5 deficit to Dan Corbett but got back to lead 12-9. Dan got back to be 18-16 up but Harry ran out.

Prelims:

Josh and Michael Cooper had a good game with neither getting too far ahead of the other. Michael led 12-9 at one stage and went 19-18 up but Josh managed to get out.

Viv was 8-2 ahead of Graham Bleakley but Graham got back to 15-14 down. Despite this Vic only conceded one more to win 15.

Pete raced 9-0 up on Tom Killen in the corners and went 19-7 up. Tom got back to 19-13 down but Pete got out in the next couple of ends.
