The old adage that a change is as good as rest is working for young bowler Dan Corbett.
Having joined Trench from Sinclair over the winter, the 2023 and ’24 Mid Shropshire Under-18 Merit champion started the season by winning the main title at the County Trials at Old Shrewsbury last month.
And this week he added the League’s Under-25 Merit for the first time after coming out of 6 entries at Maddocks.
He beat former clubmate Logan Church 21-11 in the final after going 13-4 up, that following two first division wins for promoted and so far unbeaten Trench.

And the competitions keep coming as it is Dixon and Driscoll Doubles time on Sunday 4th May on the two greens at Newport from 10 a.m.
The entry fee is £10 per pair, there is no dress code and home players will owe 2 each and the jack.
