It’s been a sunshine start to the League season – and the Monday divisions spring back into life tomorrow – 7th April.
And one of the 36 10-a-side teams in action from 7pm will be one that’s packed with junior bowlers.
Sir John Bayley E are one of the new sides in division 6 and are full of anticipation for their home fixture with Maddocks B.
The Wellington club’s burgeoning group of youngsters will be in action with James Blair as their manager and with June Lewis having sponsored new team shirts.
Pauline Wilson, who has just resumed her role as County Development Officer said: “Good luck to this new team in the Mid Shropshire League on Monday nights and well done James Blair for agreeing to manage and look after them.”
Newport D open their defence of the division 4 title with a home game against Trench C, the Fishes club having dominated this division since Covid.
The Mid Shropshire action started in the Dennis Lewis Thursday Division last week with a full set of home wins in what looks set to be a cracking championship chase.
