Here’s to 2025 – and another good year for the League, its bowlers, their families and friends.
There’s lots to look forward to, starting in January with the annual presentation dinner on the 25th – with our County President Brenda Slingo in attendance – which is followed by the AGM on Janaury 28th.
The annual meeting might just well see the introduction of 11-a-side matches in division one from April, when Shifnal will start the defence of their first ever championship.
And it looks likely that the number of teams playing on Friday nights will be boosted, with Stockton having applied to make a welcome return to the League and Donnington Wood set to field a new B team.
I’ll raise a glass to that! Happy New Year one and all!
